José Mourinho expects to discuss his future with AS Roma before June and says the club “know what to expect” from him. The Portuguese coach, who has a contract until 2024, is reportedly only willing to stay until the end of his deal if he is promised adequate investment to strengthen the team in the summer.
Mourinho confirmed that he had the chance to leave Roma in December and that the Portuguese federation had approached him to replace Fernando Santos after the World Cup. He insisted that Roma’s priority is their upcoming Europa League match against RB Salzburg, saying they can’t look beyond the next game.
