Muhyiddin slammed by the public again
A netizen defended our Prime Minister, saying that he will never do what TSMY did. The netizen questioned the wisdom of TSMY suspending Parliament for seven months, which has been seen by some as an attempt to stifle democracy and evade accountability.
Additionally, concerns have been raised about the excessive appointments of government-linked companies (GLCs) to individuals with questionable qualifications or experience.
The hasty cancellation of emergency ordinances has also fueled public anger, with many viewing it as a sign of disrespect towards the monarch and a mockery of the institution. The government’s decision to revoke the ordinances without proper consultation with the palace or other stakeholders has raised questions about its commitment to good governance and respect for the rule of law.
Some have questioned the courage of TSMY, suggesting that his bold statements and actions may be reserved only for moments when PM Anwar is not present. According to these critics, TSMY often speaks out loudly against issues that he disagrees with, but remains conspicuously silent in the presence of the Prime Minister.
