The Polish city of Szczecin has found an unexpected tourist attraction in the form of a black-and-white feline, known as Gacek, who lives in a wooden box outside a shop. Featured in a YouTube documentary, Gacek accepts treats from passers-by, but the local animal shelter has urged people not to feed him.
The Chonky Cat even has an Instagram account where he once boasted a five-star rating on Google Maps with over 2,500 reviews.
His recent disappearance from Google has sparked a #bringgacekback hashtag. Despite some negative reviews, Gacek’s diverse hospitality makes him Szczecin’s top tourist spot.
