An officer of the former Bersatu Information Chief, Datuk Wan Saiful Wan Jan was arrested by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) to assist in an investigation on an accusation the man made online saying MACC offered a reward of RM10 million if Wan Saiful would frame Muhyiddin Yassin.
MACC Chief Commissioner Tan Sri Azam Baki during a press conference here on Today said a video clip of Wan Saiful’s man was circulated online and it says MACC offered the cash to Wan Saiful to help prosecute Muhyiddin.
After the video went viral and some media outlets did a report on the serious allegations, the man in the video came out with another clip in which he said his statement was manipulated and he did not mean to say MACC tried to frame Muhyiddin.
