Desperate Suroto Steals from Mosques to Book Girls on MiChat

A 20-year-old man named Suroto stole 69 charity boxes from mosques and mushollas across several districts in Indonesia, including Gunungkidul, Sukoharjo, Cilacap, Pracimantoro, Yogya, and Bantul.

He would sell snacks before committing the thefts. Suroto was caught in the act by locals in Kalurahan Hargosari, Tanjungsari, and was reported to the police.

He spent the stolen money on karaoke drivers and booking girls online on MiChat. The incident was captured on a video posted on TikTok by Kabar Handayani.
