The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) has issued a warning that severe action will be taken against those who misuse its title for personal gain.
Warning from the PMO
The PMO released a statement on Wednesday, March 15th, stating that such acts are highly irresponsible and negatively impact the credibility of the government. The PMO also warned that it will not hesitate to take legal measures against those involved in such behaviour.
This statement was made in response to Ayer Hitam MP Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong’s claim that an individual called “Deepak” had contacted him to resolve issues regarding the recent egg shortage issue in Parliament. Deepak allegedly claimed to have discussed the matter with the PMO.
