Former chairman of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC), Wong Kah Wong, has requested that the Ministry of Health disclose the losses incurred from the expiry of nearly 2.8 million doses of Covid-19 vaccines stored in Malaysia.

Wong (PH-Taiping) quoted a written response from the Ministry of Health which cited the confidentiality agreement as a reason for not disclosing the details, including the amount of losses incurred and the cost of each vaccine.

Wong stated that he had examined the agreement and found that it only prevented the government from disclosing the selling price of each Covid-19 vaccine dose.
