Three teenage boys believed to be victims of abuse were rescued by the public after they were found wandering and unable to move on Jalan Kampung Tambun Tulang, Simpang Empat, yesterday.

The incident happened at 11.55 pm when members of the public found the victims aged between 13 and 16 years old while passing the area. According to District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Yusharifuddin Mohd Yuaop, two of the victims were disabled. The victims are believed to be siblings aged between 14 and 16 years old.
The police chief said that the victims were allegedly locked up and chained in a house by their mother who did not live with them. The police arrested the mother and another man to assist with the investigation. The victims were handed over to the State Department of Social Welfare after receiving medical treatment.
