PAS is relying on the Kedah Chief Minister, Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor, as the “poster boy” for Perikatan Nasional (PN) in the upcoming state election. Some PAS leaders revealed that the Kedah Chief Minister would be the sole candidate to maintain the Kedah state government.
Sanusi appointed as campaign director
They stated that he would be the “poster boy” for PAS and PN to retain the Kedah state government. Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man, Deputy President of PAS, recently announced that Muhammad Sanusi was appointed as the PN’s campaign director for the six state elections.
The Kedah state secretary, Musoddak Ahmad, confirmed that he would be the poster boy for the PN in the Kedah state election, based on his leadership performance and people’s support. The state elections are expected to take place no later than August this year and include Kelantan, Terengganu, Kedah, Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, and Pulau Pinang.
