A woman in Johor, Malaysia, recently shared her experience of getting her passport renewed but to do so, she is asked to remove her eyelash extensions by an immigration officer.
The woman had to remove them in a toilet one by one, causing her heartache. She eventually renewed her passport successfully but had to spend RM100 (S$30) to get her eyelashes done again.

This story serves as a reminder to women to check the rules before getting their passport photos taken. “I know contact lenses and make up is not allowed, but… I overlooked this point. After all, I see them as my own eyelashes. I think ladies who have extensions can relate,” wrote the woman.
