A devastating fire in the densely populated Taytay municipality in the Philippines claimed the lives of seven people, including two innocent children aged just two and twelve.
“They weren’t able to escape. They were trapped,” Taytay’s acting police chief Joel Custodio told AFP. “They were found hugging each other,” as the tragic fire kills.
