He says his instructions to the agency are clear: to take action if there is evidence related to corruption. However, he adds on the probe on the HR Ministry, that people should give MACC time, and they should not speculate. “Let them do their duty,” he says.
Anwar On MACC
This was his response to reports that up to three aides of Human Resources Minister V. Sivakumar, a DAP deputy SecGen and Batu Gajah MP, have been detained by the anti-graft body. Anwar told a press conference that he was informed about the arrests and he would leave it to MACC to investigate.
