The government, in collaboration with selected supermarkets, is offering discounted prices on raw goods like chicken, onions, and basic food items for Menu Rahmah entrepreneurs as a compassionate measure to reduce production costs. Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim expressed appreciation for the contribution of Menu Rahmah entrepreneurs in reducing the cost of living burden.

The initiative aims to provide relief to entrepreneurs and ensure the sustainability of Menu Rahmah implementation for the benefit of the less fortunate. Additionally, Anwar announced that the government, in partnership with the Cement and Concrete Association of Malaysia (C&CA) and private housing developers, will offer reasonably priced cement for affordable home developers.
This initiative is targeted towards homes priced at RM300,000 and below, benefiting the B40 and M40 groups with a maximum reduction of up to RM5,000 depending on the type and price of the house. Anwar highlighted that the total amount of private incentives from cement suppliers to home buyers through housing developers is RM120 million, expected to be sufficient for the construction of up to 24,000 units of affordable homes.
