The story goes that on Mar. 27, the Johor police received a report on a male suspect who was caught abusing a stray dog on CCTV. He has a story of attacking the canine. The culprit was revealed to be a 19-year-old student, Braden Yap Hong Sheng.
Dog on Fire
On Mar. 8, Yap threw a vase at the canine taking shelter, according to The Straits Times. On Mar. 14, Yap came back to throw bricks and stones at the dog. On Mar. 27 he brought a metal rod and beat the dog with it after that he poured what appeared to be alcohol on it before setting it on fire. He did post an apology on his Facebook page, but that was too little, too late.
