Dr P Ramasamy, Deputy Chairman of the DAP in Penang, criticized the recent statement by PAS President, Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang, who claimed that PAS cannot enter the “kitchen of DAP” even if they change the Muslim chef.
DAP leader SLAMS Hadi Awang
Ramasamy sarcastically stated that Hadi seems to have forgotten the cooperation between PAS and DAP during their time in Pakatan Rakyat from 2008 to June 2015. Ramasamy highlighted that PAS did not have any issues entering DAP’s “kitchen” during that time, regardless of the religion of the chef. He also accused Hadi of being the architect of animosity between DAP and PAS.
He further suggested that if PAS’s former leader, Datuk Seri Nik Abdul Aziz, were still alive, such hostility would not have occurred. Ramasamy further criticized Hadi’s statement as illogical and reflective of extreme religious and racial views, as Islam is the official religion of Malaysia and it is time for the people to not take Hadi’s views seriously.
