A 67-year-old Malaysian man has been making 2am trips to Singapore twice a month to visit his son. Cheong explains that he sets off from Malaysia at 2am so that he can ride to Singapore slowly, which is a safer thing to do, he says to 8World News.
“I wait regardless of how long [I have to sit here because] I’m happy as long as I get to see [my son],” he also says about the son Cheong Chun Yin, who was arrested in Singapore in 2008 (aged 24) for trafficking heroin and sentenced to life imprisonment.
