They say paternal love can have no boundaries, certainly when it comes to this dad, Cheong Kah Pin, who is 67 and who rides twice a month to Singapore to visit his son in jail. Cheong says: “I miss him and seeing him in person is all I want.”

Slow Ride

A 67-year-old Malaysian man has been making 2am trips to Singapore twice a month to visit his son. Cheong explains that he sets off from Malaysia at 2am so that he can ride to Singapore slowly, which is a safer thing to do, he says to 8World News.

“I wait regardless of how long [I have to sit here because] I’m happy as long as I get to see [my son],” he also says about the son  Cheong Chun Yin, who was arrested in Singapore in 2008 (aged 24) for trafficking heroin and sentenced to life imprisonment. Young people, think before you help others with drug trafficking.
