TSMY is arguably one of the least liked Prime Ministers in Malaysia, that is according to Twitter. A large number of netizens have been criticizing the ex-PM continuously for years now, and unfortunately for him, criticizing PM Anwar’s government isn’t helping him as much.

Netizens are reminding each other what it was like when he was PM. There was a movement called the “bendera putih” movement when the rakyat were quite literally starving during the COVID-19 pandemic. It is surprising to many Twitter users that there are people who are openly supporting him.

It is a lesson to us Malaysians that we need to understand the importance of voting the right person in power. If we aren’t careful, we may get another Prime Minister that can potentially do worse.
