Heriot-Watt University Malaysia (HWUM) has been recognized as a preferred university by Talentbank’s 2023 Talentbank National Graduate Employability Index. The Index was based on a survey with top employers in Malaysia, including PwC, Deloitte, and Coca-Cola.

HWUM received several 5-Star and 6-Star Employability Ratings in various fields, such as Actuarial Science, Mathematics and Statistics, Quantity Survey, Marketing, and Mechanical Engineering, highlighting the university’s rigorous academic programs, faculty excellence, and industry connections.
This recognition shows that HWUM continues to prepare students for success in the workforce, with over 95 percent of its graduates finding employment or continuing their studies within six months of graduation.
Professor Mushtak Al-Atabi, HWUM’s Provost and Chief Executive Officer, expressed gratitude to the university’s partners and employers, and reaffirmed HWUM’s commitment to providing high-quality education through its ‘Positive Education’ approach. The university’s April 2023 intake is currently open for applications, and the ‘Future Made Bursary’ offers a RM3,000 bursary for all students who enroll in the Foundation intake.
