A couple has been arrested for allegedly beating a 4-year-old boy to death in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. The victim’s biological mother and stepfather were taken into custody after the child was rushed to the emergency zone of Sultanah Aminah Hospital before being pronounced dead on arrival.
4-year-old Dies
The police chief stated that the boy had injuries to the head, back of the ears, stomach, and legs of the 4-year-old boy, and the couple confessed to being involved in the case.
The male suspect has a past criminal record, and both have been remanded for further investigation. The case is being investigated under the Child Act 2001.
