A 24-year-old man has been arrested by Kelantan police for allegedly making threatening statements against the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

The arrest was made following a police report received on a tweet that contained a screenshot of a message threatening to throw a firecracker bomb at the Prime Minister.

The tweet was reportedly directed at Anwar Ibrahim, and the police traced it to the TikTok account of the suspect, although the video has since been deleted. The suspect is being investigated under Sections 506 and 233 of the Penal Code.
