Making new music is now very difficult and there will be a point where new songs and melody as well as verses may have similarities with existing songs. What is the solution?

Copyright Lawsuit

Ed Sheeran is finding out with this copyright lawsuit. Ed Sheeran has said he would be “done” if found liable of copying Marvin Gaye’s “Let’s Get it On,” as he continued to testify in a federal court case in Manhattan. Sheeran denied accusations that parts of his 2014 hit “Thinking Out Loud” were lifted from Gaye’s 1973 R&B classic.

Ed Sheeran Denies

The singer-songwriter expressed his frustration at the copyright infringement case, stating that he found it insulting to be accused of diminishing his life’s work. Sheeran’s lawyer also questioned him on live performances and the writing process of “Thinking Out Loud,” as the trial continues. Sheeran denies copying ANYTHING from Marvin Gaye’s song.

Elon Musk@elonmusk says: “If this keeps going, making new music will be illegal!”
