Founder of Rumah Bonda, Siti Bainun Ahd Razali, has been sent to Kajang Prison to begin serving her 12-year prison sentence after her application to postpone the sentence was denied by the Sessions Court in Kuala Lumpur.
No Exceptions
The judge ruled that there were no exceptional circumstances to allow for the suspension of the sentence. Siti was found guilty of multiple charges, including abuse of power and criminal breach of trust involving RM1.5 million, relating to her management of Rumah Bonda, a shelter home for single mothers.
