TIKTOK user neeeesh12 (HarneeshKaur) earned praises online for standing up against what is called a mini-napoleon at one ot Tealive’s branches. She was told the hiring was only for ‘Melayu Sahaja’. Offended, she vented her dissappointments on TikTok and this went viral.
Racial Standards?
After the episode, Tealive sent two apologies to the user, saying they do not practice racial standards in their hiring process. They were not aware of such practices at the said outlet. No one has revealed which outlet it is.
