The Malaysian Ministry of Finance has uncovered discrepancies in a contract procurement process worth up to RM159.47 million per year.

The discrepancies involve a senior officer at Human Resource Development Corp. He allegedly attempted to mislead MOF by implying they had received board approval for “Skills Passport”.

However, MOF claims that the board never approved the project. MOF claims are based on board meeting minutes dated October 6, 2022. The contract procurement process is now under investigation by MOF.
