A happy Manchester City coach praises two of his players for their ‘exceptional’ performances in the match against Real Madrid in the Champions League semi-final ending 1-1 after the first leg.

“In this type of game in this type of competition – semi-finals and finals – you need your best players. Ederson and Kyle Walker were exceptional. In general, everyone was really good,” the coach says.

A wonderful Vinicius Jr goal in the first half put Real up 1-0 but City recovered thanks to a fine Kevin De Bruyne effort in the second half. City was seriously tested during this match, reports say. The keeper was on top of his game though.
