Unfortunately, snatch thieves are common in Malaysia. According to a survey done by Cilisos and Allianz bank in 2020, they found that the most common fear among Malaysians is that snatch thefts are the thing that worries them the most. It is somewhat embedded in us to stay vigilant at all times while we’re outside.
Snatch thief uncovered and attacked
Two videos surfaced on Twitter showing one where the thief was caught by the victim and the second where a woman was beating up the thief. Netizens are advising these thieves to get a proper job, rather than to simply rob others of their hard earned money. Furthermore, there were other netizens stating that Siti Bainun needs to be the one abusing them.
The pun was made after she was accused of abusing a disabled child that was under her care. Another user states that at only 27-years-old the robber has over 13 cases against him. It is a shock to others on Twitter as it seems that previously he was let go scot free.
