The Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs (KPDN) is set to conduct a special meeting in late June to evaluate and strengthen the Rahmah initiative’s performance comprehensively. Minister Salahuddin Ayub explained that the meeting aims to assess the initiative’s progress since its implementation in January, once it reaches the six-month mark.
Feedback on Menu Rahmah
It will analyze the actions taken, direct impacts, and feedback from various stakeholders. KPDN welcomes any criticism to facilitate improvements in the upcoming six months. The value-added evaluation process is crucial for ensuring sustainability. The Minister confirmed the special meeting’s schedule following the launch of the Rahmah Umbrella Initiative with Foodpanda Malaysia.
He also praised Foodpanda Malaysia’s efforts in expanding access to the Rahmah Menu. The event was attended by KPDN’s Director-General of Enforcement, Azman Adam, and Foodpanda Malaysia’s CEO, Sayantan Das, who expressed confidence in the initiative’s potential to benefit the delivery network. They assured the delivery partners that their earnings would remain unaffected by the initiative.
