Mid Valley Management CONFIRMS and Apologises For Fire Incident

It appears that the management of Mid Valley has confirmed that something happened on their property. They provided a detailed timeline depicting the incident. 

Mid Valley fire incident timeline: 


– 10:30am: The Mid Valley City Fire Control Centre received a report of a fire breaking out at the external TNB (Tenaga Nasional Berhad) Substation, adjacent to the east facade of Mid Valley Megamall.

– 10:40am: The Emergency Response Team and members of the Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department arrived on scene.

– 12:29pm: The Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department declared the fire to have been completely contained and put out.

Currently, an investigation is on the way regarding the incident. The management team states that they will assess the extent of the damage done to their TNB Substation. The power supply of the shopping mall was disrupted and they are working to restore it back. 

Fortunately, there were no injuries or casualties due to this incident. The management of the mall has also sent an apology to their customers and assures that the safety of the public, shoppers and tenants will always be their top priority.
