The Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a forecast stating that several states across Malaysia can expect rain and thunderstorms this evening, with the possibility of the weather conditions lasting until tonight. According to the department, Penang, Kelantan, Terengganu, and Pahang are likely to experience rain and thunderstorms in the evening.

In addition, there may be similar weather in a few locations inland, such as Perlis, Kedah, Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, Johor, and Perak. The forecast also extends to certain areas in Sabah, including Tawau, Sandakan, Kudat, and Labuan, as well as parts of Sarawak like Sarikei, Sibu, Mukah, Kapit, Bintulu, Miri, and Limbang.
The evening forecast indicates the possibility of rain and thunderstorms in Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang, Kedah, Perak, and Johor. Meanwhile, in Sabah, rain is expected in a few locations inland and on the west coast, while Sarawak may experience similar weather in Sarikei, Sibu, Mukah, Kapit, Bintulu, and Miri.
