In one of the many flats residents at the Loke Yew Public Housing Flat saw their wall fly-off into thin air during a storm. The storm hit major parts of Kuala Lumpur on Friday.

Nevertheless, the dinding of the house that collapsed following heavy rain and the storm is now fixed, temporarily by the DBKL.

DBKL says they have closed off the area affected by the collapse to prevent any further untoward incidents. “A temporary fix has been installed in the affected house before the necessary repairs to the wall are carried out in the near future,” they said in a statement on Saturday (May 20).”
