Air Kelantan Sdn Bhd (AKSB) and the state government are being urged to provide clarification regarding the issuance of “festive tokens” to the company’s board of directors. Dr. Rosli Allani Abdul Kadir, a member of the PKR Kelantan Leadership Council, emphasized the need for AKSB to confirm the authenticity of the circulating notice and explain the rationale behind the distribution of these tokens.

If the information is valid, it implies a lack of positive action by the state government, despite previous expectations. The disclosure of the notice, which grants RM10,000 to board members, RM200 to all company employees, and RM2,000 to the company secretary, has gained traction on social media platforms.
This revelation comes after recent accusations of water theft involving a Member of Parliament and subsequent fines imposed on a contractor. The Kelantan Executive Councillor declined to comment further on the matter, stating that it has already gone viral.
