The offspring of a former Prime Minister has been summoned by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission in relation to another investigation conducted by the commission.

A source revealed to a local Malay portal that the individual attended the MACC Headquarters in Putrajaya at 10 a.m. yesterday. According to the source, another investigation under the Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Terrorism Financing and Proceeds of Unlawful Activities Act has been carried out by the MACC.

In Feb, the MACC said it was investigating a former prime minister and his son-in-law in relation to a lucrative government contract. TS Muhyiddin Yassin has since then been charged for abuse of power.
