Big promo for the Kaara Saaram restaurant in Brickfields by our former Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob who lost the elections in Nov 2022 to PM Anwar Ibrahim of Pakatan Harapan. The ex-PM is devouring the roti canai with curry.

On his IG post, he said he is eating lunch at Kaara Saaram with Saravanan, Johor MP Hasni Mohammad and others. He promotes the restaurant just like a TikToker will do or an IG influencer for that matter.
“Food here is very ‘perghhhh’ tasty. Whoever want to try the Indian food, try eat here,” he says, with two thumbs up. He urges customers to order the roti canai with lamb curry or the claypot with chicken, lamb or prawn.

Teasing the ex-PM and his colleagues-friends, norliza1004 asks: “You all x ingat DSNR kr.. huhuhuhu 🤪”
Another user commented on how ‘pretty ‘ the watch of the politician is. A few ask whether the food is halal, while another ask if the food is safe and another user said while he do not want to sound racist, but Sabri must be careful about his beliefs.
One user found it not funny that Sabri always screams ‘Malay, Malay’ but end up eating in a non-Halal restaurant.
Why is Kaara Saaram not halal? On would ask. Usuall, Malay-Muslims eat at daun pisang restaurants, no problem.
