Ukraine War: A New Way of Calculating Russian Casualties

A team of Russian journalists has been using probate records to estimate the number of Russian soldiers killed in the war with Ukraine. Western sources say more than 50,000 Russian soldiers died in Ukraine. Is it true?

They claim that more than 10,000 Russian servicemen have died since 2014, far higher than the official figures. Russian officials say 5,937 soldiers died in the conflict.
