A preliminary analysis report by the bomb unit revealed that the two plastic bottles, suspected to be an IED, contained inflammable substances. The Deputy Inspector-General of Police, Datuk Seri Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay, stated that police are still awaiting the full report on the explosive materials found. He emphasized that making such bombs is not difficult and can be learned from the internet.

Police have taken statements from various individuals, including workshop employees, security guards, and members of the Orang Asli community. Authorities are also checking CCTV footage for further investigation, including possible motives for the incident. “The distance the bomb could explode is also being investigated…making this bomb is not difficult as it could be learned from the internet,” Ayob Khan says.
