The Menteri Besar of Selangor, Amirudin Shari asks voters not to fall into ex-PKR leader Azmin Ali’s ploy in the Aug 12 PRN. Azmin Ali claims his investment in the water industry caused Selangor’s low financial reserves during his tenure as MB. But Aminudin says this is hogwash.
Under his administration, only 213 km of pipes were replaced with RM185 million, while PH replaced 614 km with RM719 million. “He boasted of starting the Labohan Dagang Water Treatment Plant with RM112 million, but I completed it for RM235 million,” says Amirudin.
