Going for a vintage aesthetic is challenging but is arguably one of the coolest things one could do. Apparently, a bunch of TikTokers decided to film a video with a 1970s-esq film technique and uploaded the video on the social media platform. Netizens are in awe of the whole spectacle.

Some state that the TikTokers did fool them as they thought these were clips from the 1970s. However, one proper look at the background, you’d see Pavilion, which was obviously built in the 2010s. Despite this, it seems Malaysians are embracing creativity well.
Unfortunately, many of the buildings from the era are either abandoned or in preparation for demolition. Malls like Ampang Park are now replaced with a skateboard park. The question is, will these buildings from the 70s be better off demolished or should they stay?
