Arsenal and Monaco have agreed on a €40m (£34.3m) transfer for striker Folarin Balogun, with a significant sell-on clause. Balogun, 22, will undergo a medical this weekend before finalizing a long-term deal.

Arsenal agrees with transfer deal

He impressed on loan at Ligue 1’s Reims last season, scoring 21 goals in 37 appearances. Kieran Tierney is also leaving Arsenal, joining Real Sociedad on loan, having fallen down the pecking order. West Ham has secured Mohammed Kudus from Ajax for €45m plus add-ons, with a verbal agreement that includes a sell-on clause.

Kudus will sign a five-year contract, and his medical is scheduled for Saturday. West Ham’s technical director, Tim Steidten, played a pivotal role in the transfer.
