Malaysia is home to one of the most iconic tigers of all time, the Malayan tiger. Unfortunately this breed of felines are nearing extinction. However, there were a few eye witnesses claiming to see one on the loose while driving on the highway. Speculations are that they were roaming around the area.
Tiger on the loose?
Netizens are blaming the situation on the overdevelopment in the quieter areas of Selangor and Negeri Sembilan. They claim that these condos and commercial buildings were built around the homes of these animals. Now that these felines have lost their homes, they are in need to look for a new one.
The sentiment towards them losing their homes is a popular one. Netizens state that something needs to be done in order to preserve our country’s unique wildlife.
