They found colorful pills suspected to be ecstasy (containing MDMA types 3 and 4) in 12 boxes, while the remaining 24 contained bricks. The shipment was falsely declared as “tools” to deceive authorities. A preliminary investigation linked the drugs to the Netherlands. No arrests have been made due to fictitious import documentation.
This marks the fifth drug seizure from the Netherlands at the cargo complex this year, potentially serving over 2.1 million addicts. The case is under investigation per Section 39B(1)(a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
