Apparently, there were tourists that went viral on TikTok complaining that there aren’t enough sidewalks for them to walk on in Malaysia. They had to walk on the shoulders of the highways.

However, TikTokers were quick to ask these tourists if they had sidewalks at the shoulders of highways in their country. They respond by stating that they have alternative routes for pedestrians. Others state that Malaysia is too hot and hence that is why we don’t have enough sidewalks.
Netizens are also showing concerns towards the foreigners as they are walking near speeding cars. As we all know, cars on Malaysian highways are pretty fast. Many warn them to seek alternative ways to get to their destination.
