Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah wept as she expressed her emotion at the response of the people of Sabah to celebrate the arrival of Her Majesty and Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah during the last tour of Borneo.
Through a post on Istana Negara’s Instagram on Friday, shared a video showing Tunku Azizah crying at the willingness of the people of Sabah to await the arrival of His Majesty in heavy rain.

“Sabah is ‘crying’, I am also crying, the people are crying, the sky is crying but they are still outside in the heavy rain. I am already half wet because I opened the window. “Thank you very much. Your Majesty (Al-Sultan Abdullah) and I will remember this for the rest of our lives… We apologize and we feel guilty to the people who are waiting outside in the rain because we cannot go out and meet them.”
