The popularity of the BYD Dolphin has sparked some enlightenment among Malaysians. Some users are claiming it to be the Myvi of EV cars in the country. It appears that these vehicles may be more popular than the conventional fuel hungry vehicles. The current price for these cars are at RM99,900.
BYD Dolphin, the new car king in town?
Netizens state that if the government involved themselves and reduced the prices of these cars, their popularity would definitely increase even further. Many are excited to see the rise of the BYD Dolphin as they feel the future of this country depends on being environmentally friendly.
However, some state that this car will only be popular until a newer EV version of the Myvi comes out. Regardless, there are no obvious plans from Perodua for this proposed car.
