Two Detained Now in Investigation of Shirtless Man’s Body Found in Lorry

Two individuals were apprehended to aid in the inquiry into the discovery of a deceased, unclothed man in a truck at a parking area in Danau Kota, Setapak, in the early hours of yesterday. The deceased, a 59-year-old local man, was reported to the police by his 56-year-old sister at 1:48 a.m.

Wangsa Maju District Police Chief, Superintendent Ashari Abu Samah, confirmed the death at the scene and outlined the injuries sustained, with two local men, aged 36 and 37.

They’re taken into custody for investigation under Section 302 of the Penal Code, which pertains to murder and carries the potential for the death penalty upon conviction.
