Luxury designer goods are getting more expensive, but at the same time, their quality standards have not been kept the same. Recently, a woman complained that her RM32,000 bag broke after less than a year of using it. The hardware broke off, and the bag seems to not be able to close up properly.
Chanel bag falls apart again
Other users complained that their relatively new Chanel bags are showing deeper wear and tear after less than a year’s worth of usage. Some state that these bags are not meant to be used everyday, but at an eye watering price, it should be an everyday bag. Additionally, these bags do not even look like formal or evening clutches.
Later on, the woman did update her audience by saying that the brand fixed her bag. It took them more or less 10 minutes to fix the hardware. However, others state that the brand should compensate her by giving her a new bag.
