The father of Nurin Jazlin, the young girl who was brutally murdered 16 years ago, Jazimin Abdul Jalil wrote a touching birthday message for his 24-year-old daughter last Monday. While it touched the hearts of netizens, the message is a reminder that children need protection.

Jazimin shared a photo of the 8 years-old girl with the caption ‘Happy 24th Birthday to my daughter, Kak Ngah. Rindu Kak Ngah (I miss you, Kak Ngah). 11 September 1999, until 17 September 2007’. The heartfelt message revived memories of the days of her disappearance. Malaysia will never forget the lost loved ones!
