Internet Divided Now after Mat Rempit Crashes into JPJ Officer

The motorcyclist who crashed into an enforcement officer of the Road Transport Department (JPJ) at Kilometer 28 of the Seremban-Port Dickson Highway, Negeri Sembilan on Sunday has eight previous records involving drug and criminal cases. The incident has divided internet users, with some on TikTok and Facebook apparently praising the motorcyclist.

Port Dickson District Police Chief, Superintendent Aidi Sham Mohamed said, in the incident at about 11 am, the JPJ was conducting a roadblock before the suspect, a security guard sped off and hit the law enforcement officer involved. As a result, the member suffered injuries to his head, lips and wounds on his limbs. Nevertheless, people are criticising the authorities for conducting roadblocks on highways.
