WHAT: Penang Hill Ranked Second Most Overrated Asian Tourist Trap

America’s widely distributed USA Today recently released a list of the top 100 global tourist traps, focusing on arming travelers with essential information before visiting popular destinations. Penang Hill, a Local tourist spot, surprisingly ranked as Asia’s worst tourist trap and 9th globally.

It also got the 2nd spot in Asia and 14th worldwide as the most overrated attraction, along with being the 64th most overpriced globally. USA Today compiled this list by analyzing 23.2 million Google reviews of 500 popular tourist attractions across 65 countries and 6 continents in July 2023. Negative keywords like “tourist trap,” “expensive,” and “overrated” were key factors in the analysis. Is that correct?
