Regionally, there has been an 80% surge in Saver deliveries from March to August 2023, attributed in part to expanding the Saver delivery option to more cities. Despite longer delivery times, local and regional consumers expressed satisfaction with their orders, with over 96% of reviewed orders receiving a 5-star rating for delivery partners.

Malaysia led the Saver delivery charge, accounting for about a third of all food orders, followed by Singapore and the Philippines. Hassan Alsagoff, Marketing Head of Grab, emphasized that Saver delivery aims to cater to a broader consumer base by reducing fees and enhancing accessibility. The company constantly strives to provide value to all users, including consumers, delivery and driver partners, and merchants.
