The Malaysian national women’s squash team remains on track for the Asian Games team event gold after a convincing 2-0 victory over South Korea in the semi-finals at the Hangzhou Olympic Sport Centre Squash Court. Aifa Azman secured the first point with a swift 11-4, 11-1, 11-8 win over Eum Hwayeong in just 20 minutes.

Women Squash

S. Sivasangari followed suit, dominating Lee Jihyun with an 11-4, 11-4, 11-5 victory to secure the comfortable overall win. The team will face a tough challenge in the final against top-seeded and defending champions Hong Kong, who defeated India 2-1 in the other semi-final.
